Professional Experience
I have over six years of experience working therapeutically with children, young people, and adults across a range of settings, supporting individuals with diverse needs and life experiences.
My background includes working as a School Counsellor within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting for three years, supporting young people aged 8–16. This role deepened my understanding of neurodiversity, developmental trauma, and the importance of creating safe, attuned environments for emotional expression and regulation.
I have also worked as a Bereavement Therapist within hospice care, offering compassionate support to individuals navigating grief, loss, and anticipatory bereavement. This work is grounded in a trauma-informed understanding of loss and its impact on identity, attachment, and emotional wellbeing.
I currently run a private practice, where I work with children, young people, and adults. My practice is integrative and trauma-informed, supporting clients with a wide range of presentations, including trauma, identity challenges, emotional regulation, and life transitions.
In addition, I am a fully qualified and experienced Clinical Supervisor, providing reflective and supportive supervision to counsellors and helping professionals. My supervisory approach encourages ethical, reflective, and trauma-aware practice.
I have also recently been approved by CPCAB to deliver counselling training at Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5, further reflecting my commitment to supporting the development of future practitioners and contributing to high standards in counselling education
